Each floor is mechanically prepared using professional grinding equipment with carefully selected diamond discs- Depending on our teams evaluation of your existing concretes condition. The grinding process- the most critical step in epoxy flooring systems, ensures proper surface preparations. With a correctly prepared surface, when the base coat of epoxy is applied, it fully adheres to the concrete and creates a complete Moisture Vapor Barrier (MVB). Next, a full broadcast of decorative flakes is applied into the epoxy and allowed to cure as a single, uniform system. The surface is then scraped and cleaned, followed by the application of a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. This process delivers a seamless, durable finish that is both highly functional and visually functioning.
